Andalusia
on the Delaware, Bensalem
Andalusia, home of one of Philadelphia's first families
(Nicholas Biddle), boasts many illustrious guests (John Quincy Adams,
Daniel Webster, and the Marquis de Lafayette). It is the finest
example of Greek revival architecture in the US. |

Bolton
Mansion, Levittown
The 290-year old ancestral home of the Pemberton family is known as
Bolton Farm. Historically and architecturally, the house is one of
the most significant in Pennsylvania. |

Bucks
County Civil War Museum, Doylestown
The Museum houses many artifacts related to the Civil War on subjects
dealing with Doylestown, the 104th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry
Regiment, as well as the War in general. |

David
Library of the American Revolution, Washington Crossing
The library is a privately endowed, nonprofit foundation devoted to
the study of American history circa 1750 to 1800. No where else in
the US will you find almost all the basic primary sources on the American
Revolution. |

Fonthill
Museum, Doylestown
Henry Mercer built Fonthill as his home between 1908 and 1912. The
concrete castle boasts 44 rooms and 18 fireplaces. The interior walls,
floors and ceilings are elaborately adorned with Mercer's handcrafted
tiles. |

Garden
of Reflection 9-11 Memorial, Yardley
The Memorial honors the 2,973 killed on September 11, 2001. The forecourt
of the Garden contains steel fragments from the World Trade Center
and the Wall of Remembrance has the victims' names etched on glass
panels. |

Historic
Fallsington, Fallsington
Historic Fallsington is a living community of 17th through 20th century
homes of varying architectural styles. The 300-year old Village represents
an enduring Quaker community that is uniquely American. |

A. Michener Art Museum, Doylestown
Housed within the massive stonewalls that were originally part of
the Bucks County Jail, the museum hosts changing exhibitions from
around the country and is home to the largest public collection of
PA Impressionist paintings. |

Johnsville
Centrifuge & Science Museum, Warminster
Located on the former Naval Air Development site, the museum houses
the largest human centrifuge ever built. It is where the Mercury,
Gemini & Apollo astronauts trained to understand the effects of
high G-forces on the body. |

Margaret
R. Grundy Museum, Bristol
Joseph Grundy was a businessman who served in the US Senate and was
active in the civic affairs of Bucks County. His home, situated along
the banks of the Delaware River, has become a museum of local history.

Mercer
Museum, Doylestown
This 1916 concrete castle contains displays of 50,000 tools, folk
art and furnishings of early America. Suspended overhead are a Conestoga
wagon, whaling boats, carriages and antique fire engines. |

Moland
House, Hartsville
George Washington's headquarters from August 10 - 23, 1777. It is
where the Marquis de Lafayette and Count Casimir Pulaski joined the
American Revolution and the American Flag was said to have first flown.

Moravian
Pottery and Tile Works, Doylestown
At this National Historic Landmark, handmade tiles are still produced
in a manner similar to that developed by Henry Mercer (1856-1930),
the pottery's builder and a major proponent of the Arts and Crafts
Movement in America. |

New
Hope & Ivyland Railroad, New Hope
Experience the sights and sounds of the Golden Era of Steam. Using
a former Canadian steam locomotive and 7 steel suburban passenger
coaches, the railroad will take you through 16 miles of rolling hills
in Bucks County. |

Pearl
S. Buck House and Historic Site, Perkasie
Originally built in 1835, the Bucks County farmhouse was home to Pearl
S. Buck and her international family. Visitors experience a unique
blend of Chinese and 19th Century Pennsylvanian traditions of art
and architecture. |

Pennsbury
Manor, Morrisville
The 17th-century manor is the reconstructed country estate of William
Penn, founder and 1st governor of PA. With a unique collection of
17th-century artifacts and lively programs, visitors can step back
to a more peaceful time. |

Stover-Myers
Mill Park, Bedminster Township
The mill, located along Tohickon Creek, started as a water-powered
gristmill/ sawmill and was later powered by steam. Owned by Jacob
Stover in the early 1800's, it produced flour and animal feed for
regional consumption.

Washington
Crossing Historic Park, Washington Crossing
When you visit the park, be sure to climb to the top of Bowman's
Tower, a commemorative monument to George Washington and his army.
This 125 foot tower was built of native stone between 1929 and 1931.
